It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the Hon. Stuart [Stu] Jackson Hayward of 12 Berkeley Road, Pembroke, son of the late the Hon. Lancelot Hayward and the late Mary Jackson Hayward; cherished husband of Dr. Jamie Pitkin Bacon and deeply beloved brother of the Hon. Sylvia Hayward-Harris. He leaves to mourn stepdaughters Drea [Irene] Hayward, Jennifer Stervinou, and Kelsey and Jessica Bacon: special cousins Hilton [late Gaynette] Hayward, Edna [Buck] Simmons, nephew Ijumo [Clarence], niece Malaika, great-niece Isjamai, great-nephews Lance [LaTasha], I’Unde and Nicademus; cousins Stanley [Sylvia] Thomas, Mavis Phillips, Janice [late Melvyn] Swainson, Sheryll [late Arthur Prysock] Ricardo, Carole Ramsey, Dorothea Bassett, Troi [Tyrone] Depts, Angela [late Derek] Spenser, Desmond Ingham; cousins-in-law Judith Smith, Germaine Trott, and Angria Bassett. He also leaves to mourn his caregivers Apol and Sally, special friends Lionel and Lynn Cann and family, Marianne Penner, Frances and Jeffrey Marshall, John Barritt, Colin and Susan Behrens and family, Alexis Outerbridge and Bert, the Wingate family esp. Roxy, Luis Correia, the Pollacks of Virginia, the Leverings of Maryland, the TM community, the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, BEST, and the Victor Scott Recorder Group, and a host relatives and friends too numerous to mention from around the world.
There will be no viewing. Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed , Mask and hand sanitation will be required ,social distancing observed.
