Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Q. Wendell “Woolly” Baxter.
A Home Going service for Q. Wendell “Woolly” Baxter son of Lynn Wilson [the late Samuel Wilson] and the late Sinclair Reid, loving father to, Keeva Baxter [Kallai Smith] and Rickai Lightbourne Sr. [Susan], [mother of children Euva-Lynn Baxter], brother to Winston “Woolly” and Linda Baxter, Natalie Simmons [Rodney], Stephen Woodley [Michelle], Juliette Hoermann, Diane Ming, John [Veronica] and Sinclair Virgil. in his 60th year formerly of 10 Fork Lane, Southampton, will be held at First Church of God, North Shore, Pembroke Today, July 8, 2017 at 11 am.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at First Church of God, North Shore, Today, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 am – 10:55 am.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Rickai Jr, C’Aja, Alisa, Aeure and La’iyun; aunt: Lois Baxter; nieces and nephews: Likila Baxter, Stephen Jr [Charlotte] and Shane Woodley, La-Trisha Perry, Chernika Tucker [Justin], Chaquita Simmons, Shawana Perry, Shakai Simmons, Damon and Jonathan Virgil, Mark Wilson, Terri Cox, Sonia, Yolanda, Chris and Dwight Paul, Julie Hoermann, Gladnora and Michael Ming, Juneann Darrell; great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friends: Allan Butterfield, Treadwell “Bumpsy” Walker, Reginald “Pickles” Smith, Sloane Wilson, The N.V.C.C family and other friends and family too numerous to mention.
Wendell Baxter was predeceased by uncles: Winston, Irving and Cyril “Scorchy” Baxter and Eddie Ford; aunts: Lorraine Castle, O’Neil Wade, Louise Bean, Eunice Baxter and Eunice Ford.
