The family of Wilbert McDonald “Chuck Wally” Warner regrets to announce his passing in his 88th year. He was the son of the late Samuel Benjamin Warner and Annie Charity Warner. Husband to Hilda Mae Warner and loving father of Dr. Wilbert N.E. Warner [Romelle], V. Leonette Cox [Bishop Lester Cox], Brittany Outerbridge, and Gary Burrows. Cherished and loved by grandsons Matthew Cox and Adrian Warner, and granddaughters Shakira Warner and Hilary Cox. Beloved brother of Sherlyn Jones [the late Donald Jones] and foster parent of Yonae Augustus [Derrick].
He is predeceased by siblings Ismay Christopher, Leonard Warner [the late Marion Warner], Dorothy Joel and Arlene Warner and in-laws Ethlyn Huges and Phylliss Flood.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law Llewellyn Joell, Edward Smith [Lois], Robert Smith [Barbara], Enith, Lois Pilgrim, Ruth Santucci, Harriett Ponder, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A Homegoing Service will be held on Thursday, August 20th at 11:00am at the Heritage Worship Center, 59 Dundonald Street, Hamilton. Family are asked to be seated in the church by 10:30am. The Service will be live streamed on Facebook Live.
There will be no interment.
There will be no viewing.
In respect of the Covid 19 guidelines, it is requested that masks be worn and physical distancing be practiced.
