Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Winifred Miriam Elizabeth Wade
Katherina, Melissa-Lee and Shawna-rika wish to invite you to honor the life of Mrs. Winifred Miriam Elizabeth Wade and to grieve the loss of our wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a loving family member and friend to many. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday May 16, 2022.
The funeral service will be held at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church, King Street, Hamilton on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 12:00pm. Viewing at the church will be from 11:00am until 11:55am. Interment will follow the service at the Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery in St. Georges.
Miriam, beloved wife of the late Palmer Leon Wade, also leaves to mourn her grandchildren Mystere [Patrick] Monteiro, Meliseanna Gibbons, Gianluca Gibbons, Jordan Samms, Reyna Samms and Hayden Sorli, and great grand-daughter Noah Brielle Monteiro; sons-in-law Sydney Gibbons, Duncan Sorli and Royland Samms; goddaughter Karen Woolridge Pitt; special care-givers Veronica Smith, Phyllis Simons and Yvonne Dawson; and numerous nieces, nephews and loving family members.
Miriam was the daughter of the late Daisy Gibbons and Wilfred Berkeley. She was the sister to Olga Stirling, Betty Brown, Patricia Daniels, Madeline Trott, Thora Young, Joan Caswell, Ivan and Rupert Gibbons, McDonald, Winston, David, Alfred and Erskine Berkeley.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed , Mask and hand sanitation will be required ,social distancing observed.
