He needs someone to love and care for him you can see it all in his eyes that he is a lost soul, however with saying that he must pay for his actions and I am sure unless he gets help it will just be a repeated cycle.

I read about his life and was saddened by the fact that his Parents died early, no one in his family seemed to step in, in any meaningful way ..emphasis on seemed because I simply don’t know, the system failed him repeatedly. He didn’t stand much a chance at all for success in this life when you look at his beginnings. What is equally as sad is that his story is so common amongst young black men in Bermuda. We are failing the less fortunate and we will continue to reap those seeds of neglect that we are sowing on a daily basis.

No rehabilitation will help him, sorry that time has passed. I don’t believe in that. Maybe some therapy but I bet you he will not change no matter amount of counseling, therapy, rehabilitation he receives. He’s 24 years old not 18.

@Peace and Love. You’re right and it’s sad. I hear a lot of people suggest tougher sentencing and all that for these young men but you also have to look at what caused them to go that road from the beginning. It’s just a very unfortunate situation

@ Sunshine I totally agree..unfortunately he will not get the help he needs while incarcerated here in Bermuda as the Prison is not fully equipped with the personal needed to service him…..

I don’t condone violence of any sort but anyone who knows this young man knows that he is need of some serious help. Hopefully he gets rehabilitated and turns his life around after some serious prison time
