Why we suppoort for Mr. Noel-Simmons for MP:

a. He’s running on a platform we believe can help Bermuda Presntly address our poor economic state and his security expereince
b. He’s young, had problems and a good example that one can change their life around. He’s transparent, unlike others in the house that went to jail and won’t speak about their experience nor help others.
c. He’s a family man and takes care of his family, no one chasing him for child support, nor does he have baby daddy challenges.
d. He’s running for the only political party I presently trust. I have Lost faith in the PLP and the BDA can’t be credible until they resign the UBP seats.

You must be looking at the wrong website because there are no blank links that I can see, maybe you need a new computer.

And second, while you are critizing at least Dev is doing something and trying to be a part of the solution.

Guess it is safe to say some people will always find something negative to say no matter what happens.

Like him or not, he is being transparent. That is no easy or small task given how critical people can be. Whether you support him or not is not important. Being unjustly critical is not helpful nor is it necessary. We have to become a people who can respectfully disagree on a matter and the type of people that will encourage an effort like this, even if he wouldn’t get our vote. There is no harm in encouraging wholesome efforts.

i’m with YBM here. Although people may not be willing to vote for Devrae, at least acknowledge his efforts in trying to be part of the solution. A lot of our politicians have “no relevant experience”.. hell look at our current cabinet, as well as cabinets in the past.

at the end of the day, quoting YBM, he is willing to put himself out there to help. At least give him a chance before criticizing him on stupid little hiccups that we all make.

So he’s just finished his sentencing period?
“Unfortunately I too am not without guilt, I was arrested on December 31st 2008 and was given an 18 month suspended sentence for possession of drugs”…….
And wasn’t this outside of a school (increased penalty zone)?

I applaud Devrae for his passion and committment to take the stance to be apart of the solution to our country’s problems – - – instead of being like others (some of which just sit and write on this blog everyday) that do not contribute anything besides words and slander – - – @no says – I can agree that it appears that he does not have relevant experience; however, do we want the “status quo” in the state that the country is in right now? Just a thought to consider – - He may not be the right person (opinion – everyone has one), but at least he is willing to put himself out there to help
