AND people who leave their cars in town shouldn’t have to pay parking fines.

CADAs message is great, yes, but running around going “don’t drink and drive!” isn’t helping anyone. It’s like marching for peace. They need to do more.

Perhaps they could team up with the Corp of Hamilton and Bda Police service and change the start hour for parking tickets on Saturday mornings to begin at 10 or 11 am. If you live on either end of the island and stay out celebrating your taxi home and back to town cost almost $100 add a $50 parking ticket to it and NO wonder persons take the risk and hope for the best…

Why not provide car hangers or some other device that hangs in the car and says “I did the right thing and I’m getting a break on my parking”
instead of making it financially difficult to make the RIGHT choice.

Ps the free bus leaves too late for many people
