Please Jonathan, get serious. Are you really suggesting that we stop doing business with the U.S.? Our economy is already is serious trouble and your proposal would destroy it on a permanent basis. Perhaps it would make you happy to ban all U.S. citizens travelling to Bermuda, so they can do vice versa and prohibit all Bermudians from travelling to the U.S. What then? Would we feel better about our moral stance? I really don’t think so.

I wonder then if we currently insure any other (including US) companies that provide ‘logistical services’ to other nations military. For example, we certainly wouldn’t want to provide cover for companies providing logistical support to nations who’s military have invaded other countries (like the US invaded Iraq) or give material support (in military aid, or weaponary for oppressing their people, like anti-riot weapons provided to the Egyptian police) to authoritarian states, now would we?

I strongly hope that our glorious government will take similar steps to ban aiding all companies that do so. American, Iranian, Israeli or other.
