Hi Terry : The proper word is Portuguese. The way you spelled it (said it) is a derogatory and offensive word (equivalent to the “N” word). Just like other racial or offensive slurs. Something all of us living in Bermuda need to Learn. It’s not cool to call those of portuguese decent that. It’s very offensive…Just thought I’d let you know.

ay look bie, last time guyz had a “Robust Police Prescence” was back 1999 on Friswells….I remember it like it wuz yesterday…dere were like 246 bredrens just FLEXIN (my ace boy King Flumpy wuz dere), mindin dey own business, then BAM, robust police prescence. All dose bies did wuz sit around drinkin grape soda and chat bout some movie called “Traps III: Insane Goat”.
