Dr. Pauulu Kamarakafego was a great man, that served mankind ! Well written on the life of Dr.Kamarkafego. This is history that must be passed on…thank God my mother shared these unique stories with me…I did get to meet him via my mother one day she ran into him, he had just returned from Africa. Of course she gave me the entire history, and told me never forget this great man !! Dr. Eva Hodgson’s account was also great !

ROOSEVELT/PAUULU would be an educational/political ICON in Jamaica, I read ME ONE with total admiration of a man who was born in a small country with HUGE ideas/knowledge, who was not afraid to leave and teach the world. The so-called third world countries accepted his great work and implemented soem of them in their countries YET Bermuda refuse to even look at the options as well as use some of his propositons in School Science Projects(JUST TO SEE IF THEY MAY WORK IN REALITY), I stand corrected if this does happen.

After living in Bermuda for 11 yrs, I have come to acknowledge the vast negativity that comes in when Bermuda’s Own (sons & daughters of the soil both black & white) raise the standard and become high achievers. This my friends is MOST likely due to the lack of National Pride, hence, I am thankful for the recent song “PROUD TO BE BERMUDIAN” hope and pray this will be the smoke that will start that FIRE OF BERMUDIANS SUPPORTING THEIR OWN BEACAUSE YOU WILL ALL BENEFIT IN SOMEWAY.
