Mr. Meszoly added, “At the Fairmont Southampton, we love when we have the opportunity to open our doors to students.

This reminds me of Tarzan (meaning white skin) by Edgar Rice Burroughs written in 1912.
Tarzan is marooned in the African Jungle and becomes King of the Apes.
The storyline is similar to these ideas that are being perpetrated in the above story, expat managers/directors being marooned via modern jetliner to the jungles of Bermuda to save the hospitality industry.

Just recently an expat manager was promoted to Maitre d’banquet (Master of banquet), now this person had no experience in management before arriving some years ago on Bermudian shores.

I’m for upward mobility! I just do not understand why the upwardly mobile or those swinging from the trees in a state of euphoria have to be Tarzan and Jane.
