When I was young I used to play football with 2 brothers who 15 years later hacked a man to death with a Samurai sword. They were nice guys when I knew them and I would have had no idea they had that in them. I bet I could still talk to them happily now.
I have also met quite a few of Bermuda’s supposed hardcore ‘gangstas’. You know what, every single one of them was a pleasant, polite man.
Bermuda needs to wake up to the fact that those who are doing the killing are their OWN people. It’s not some fictional bogey man. It’s your sons!

First off, i am a very good friend of this individual. Yes carrying a gun was and is the stupidest thing he could have ever done, and to be honest I’m dissapointed in his actions. As to what happened that night he wasn’t even a suspect for the police for the altercation that occured, his actions were what alerted the police in his direction.

Again he is not the one to be involved in the whole fast lane track, but i saw him trying to be in that light, which i tried to advise him not to do. But yes there are many who want to be in the hype and trying to be something that they are not. It is unfortunate that he got caught out, and I’m pretty sure he was well aware of the consequences of leading that life. He is definitely going to be made an example of in the courts.

All i can say is that he shouldnt be in the category of the ” other young black males” he simply just got caught up in the wrong things, trying to be something that he’s not.

And I’m sorry to the family of my good friend because this is another burden added to their stress.

Just because something is legal doesn’t make it good e.g. abortion, same sex marriage, and conscription among other things. Also just because something is illegal doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
