This is exactly what Bermuda needs to get our high-end tourists back. Why should they have to track 1700 miles to St. Barth's and Anguilla? They can travel less than half the distance, have a great time, and leave their millions with us.

Great job Ralph! I cannot think of a better organizer. There ia almost nothing better than messing about in boats & Bermuda is a gunk-holers paradise. The trick is that you need the local knowledge to get in & out of the many coves.

Many yachts visit Bermuda. Very few explore Bermuda. Most get as far as St Georges or Hamilton Harbour. Thats it.

Next time, include Elys Harbour. Nowhere more idealic than rafting up off of Morgans & Palm Islands

Thanks for your comments. You are correct about Teddy. We did spend a night in Mangrove Bay and may have been able to chat with him. We did however give a Teddy Tucker wreck map in a gift package to each visiting yachtsman and discussed Teddy's contribution to local wreck diving while at the snorkeling trip to Western Blue Cut. We will inquire about Teddy if we do another trip. I suspect he is getting on a bit.

This was a brilliant initiative ..plain and simple .

Even though we are but a dot compared to most places that these sailors travel and our marine topography is daunting to the most experienced mariners they no doubt had the trip of a lifetime hosted by Mr Richardson.
Word of their experience will travel far and wide amongst their well travelled and well heeled friends for years to come.

If I could add anything to their great time it would have been a day with Teddy Tucker . That would have been the icing on the cake .
