Thank you Mr. Chapman for your kind words. About a month ago Quincy taught a series of beekeeping intensive classes for adults for one week where people could choose to attend worshops for the whole week or simply pick a particular class that suited their interest. Some people brought their children to the intensives and from there the Beekeeping Summer Camp was born.
At the moment Quincy is in Africa teaching beekeeping and sustainable agricultural methods and will return before camp begins. He is keen on doing another beekeeping intensive week for adults in August if there is enough interest. If you can find 10 adults who would like to do one or a series of beekeeping classes please let him know.

It would be great if he could also do workshops for adults. I am very interested in Bee’s and would love to learn more about them here in Bermuda.

Excellent opportunity for Bermuda’s young people! I have worked with Mr. Burgess on several occasions and know him to be an extremely qualified individual in his field and an all around positive role model for young men and women! The environment at Mr. Furbert’s Bee House is fascinating for any child that is interested in flora and fauna and hopefully the camp inspires a few more of Bermuda’s beekeepers for the next generation! Well done to all involved!
