The PLP constantly is producing talented individuals to contest the next general election. I am very impressed with their backgrounds and hope that once the election is over then we can move forward with our new team.

Well, although I can meet just about all the criteria set above, I am in no position to devote the time as I am one of the growing numbers spending less time in Bermuda these days.

There are less expensive places to live for a start.

Fair enough question.

How about married, no ‘outside’ children, no infidelity, no criminal record, a history of community service, successful career (civil service does not count), humble personality, no hint of past corruption etc.

It is quite understandable that all of these qualities cannot be met but there are a few there that IMO qualify for instant elimination from being chosen as a candidate.

Unfortunately my standards are higher than the PLPs. Some of the items listed seem to be requirements for their candidate selection.

He was selected not elected. PS Vance, the Throne speech is not a plan. Why do the PLP keep saying that their words, intentions or set of goals are plans they are NOT PLANS.

Vance, and all the “new blood” in the PLP cannot affect change if they are not rolled out in PLP strong areas. PLP will keep their black nationalist in the safe areas so they can continue recking Bermuda. PLP does not represent change!!

Well done Vance – the PLP continues to respond to the voters’ call for high quality candidates. The race in #9 at the last election was close enough to overcome at the next election. Work hard and look forward to the victory.

I am sure Vance will represent Bermuda and the PLP well. Just remember that it is an ongoing process…not just an effort to be elected in your Constituency. I dont think it is ever too late, improvement needs to take place and a call sent out for honesty and get rid of stupidty among politicians!!!
