I’m just making a clear point that the public should not blame the owners of the clubs or the bouncers because they cannot predict what events will happen that night. I actually think people like you are part of the problem because by shutting the doors on clubs just makes these wanksters think they got power over the public.

You think because of violence you have to close a club / business down? ANSWER IS ( NO ) In these times this is what is happening and clubs will have to boost up Security.

You think because banks are not giving Mortgages you have to close the bank down? ANSWER IS (NO) . It’s just like the ECONOMY . As A Club / Bar Restaurant you just have to battle through the STORM and if you wanna be SUCCESSFUL you will CONQUER..

If Dockies must close then all the clubs on Front Street should close because they hang in Moon, Cairo and The Beach and whatever other place is poppin for the night in their territory.

& to your statement: “why are they allowed entry and service in your establishment?” Do you think gang members roll with a sign on their forehead sayin “PARKSIDE”? NO, so how do you think the bouncers at the door suppose to know? Cause if you see these guys out they look like ordinary good lookin pretty boys lookin forward to partyin and to be honest some of them actually have manners and seem like nice guys with manners. So please explain how the bouncers would know the difference between gang and non-gang member? Quit blaming the bouncers and owners of the clubs. It is not their fault!

And even if they know that these guys are gang members, you can’t just say ooooh you can’t come in here. It is different if Dockies has had many previous problems with these guys but they haven’t. But now they have so maybe they will be a bit more cautious on who enters the club.

And also fights go down a lot in many of the nightclubs across the island involving women and men. Gang member or not, it just happens. So clubs can’t just be shutting down because of fights, when you have a business like that, situations like that are likely to come with it.
