I, too, am wondering if this is indeed a registered charity as I have been unable to find a listing anywhere. I went to their initial presentation (where funds were raised) and when I asked questions was giving very vague answers. I hope the money is really going where it is supposed to be….

Well to all those that have negativity to say ……….open your mind and get out there and organise and event, register to be a charity. Put yourself in the limelight so that others may follow in your foot steps, instead of coming on this forum and bad mouthing the people.These people pledged time to this event and maybe one day the service that they are so passionate about might help you or a family member.

So stop the hating and start celebrating the trail blazers and pioneers of the community.

If they actually raised any funds, where exactly is the money going? What are they doing with it?

Maybe that’s why there were barely any “celebrities” there. Maybe this group needs to be more clear about that and they might get more support.

Congrats to all who organized this wonderful and important event despite those of us who just choose to speak negative of who was invited to come, who they may/may not be connected to – whatever jealous people. Remember the real purpose of this event was to raise funds for an important foundation.

If you don’t like the who, what, when, why, then do something positive yourselves, or, as it states on a t-shirt
“If You Have Something to Say, Raise Your Hand and Put it Over Your Mouth!”…none of us want to hear/read it.

Again, bless all of you who have come together for such an important cause, and to our overseas celebrities, you are “A-list” to us here in Bermuda, welcome to our Beautiful Island, you are all welcomed back anytime.

Also, AJ our Gombey mascot represents Bermuda well, please use him more during tourist promotions-cruise/tourist season is near!
