I enjoyed this very much. Even though the subject is sad the music and lyrics are uplifting and inspire hope. I am very proud of what you have done not just because I am a proud auntie but also because you have used your God given talents and have done more than wait for the change you seek. In trying to find healing for yourselves you have reached out and shared with other hurting people. You have used your gifts to reach out and in so doing are acting as agents for change. This is what is needed. Often we are looking and waiting for someone to come and save us when we are the ones we are waiting for. Be also encouraged to create your own original tunes. Until then your true talents won’t be recognized. The radios won’t play this because it is, as far as I can tell, an unauthourized cover. I happily stand to be corrected if I am mistaken. Nothing wrong with convering to help you develop your own styles, but guard against that becoming your public image–a cover artist.

I suggest you have much original material. Shape it, craft it, and entertain us with the same. There are plenty of learned musicians who would happily help you. Bless up.
