It just keeps replaying in my mind, especially seeing him lying there unresponsive. But do know that there were Bermudians at the scene that did stop there public vehicles as we as personal vehicles to see if he was ok. I am just saying this to say that there are still Bermudians out there that look out for others, just not for themselves. I do send my condolences and my heart goes out to the family. May he rest in peace.

You have to jump through hoops to drive a car here yet anybody, with any level of experience can ride around on one of the most lethal machines on the globe.
I saw a tourist wobble away from a rental shop last year and smash straight into 2 parked cars. Says it all.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Such sad news.

No disrespect to his family and not saying this relates to him, but…
For many tourists, rent/riding a scooter is scary. Maybe this island should think about trikes or four-wheelers. Think of families with children. Being responsible for your family on our roads on a scooter that you have no experience on. It’s not economical to take a taxi everywhere and as for buses… I know they’d take up more space, but something has to give. It’s just one more strike against Bda as to why NOT come here.

I don’t think the courses for tourist before they rent bikes are in depth enough, I’ve seen some very shaky tourist especially last year, I feel that they need longer and more stringent courses before riding on our roads because I’ve seen how some of these tourist ride and it’s really unsettling, and when I pass them all I can do is pray 4 their safety, once again R.I.P sir and to the family of the gentleman.
