Spend it on programs needed to consul the few remaining kids we have that are not already caught up in drugs and crime or sitting on the wall. Check out what BCBC are doing with their money when it comes to youth programs. I am not a big supporter of BCBC and question the handling of the senior team and game selections which as Clay Smith backed by calling the selections “baffling”. However I do support any organization that is dedicated to providing programs for our young man. Just today they advertised tryouts for the National Academy. A program that I wish was around when I was representing BDA at the youth level. This program will instill discipline, confidence and pride for playing for your country, which unfortunately, I feel most senior players lack. After all, why we keep struggling to send our best players?

We must remember that the best cricketers were left in Bermuda.

I really think that we need to take a break from these ccompetitions and focus on rebuilding with the youth. The coach could then go home, and we won’t have to worry about whether David Hemp should be the captain. Perhaps David Hemp could halp train the youth! It may take a few more years, but it will save money and embarrassment

Can we just see that after 4 straight losses that maybe just maybe we are wasting money?? Can we finally see that there are much better things that we can do with the money dedicated to the BCB, perhaps things like help pay down our outstanding debt, or give to the police to step up initiatives to curb the violence!!
