Like any other place in the world we have our fair share of people who choose to not follow the rules & do their own thing. Once they where on the track there isn’t much to be done other then try & resolve it after the fact since the drivers don’t have radio’s as to be able to call off the race mid way through. Luckily Bermudians aren’t quick to call for lawsuits such as in the U.S. & a waiver was signed by all participants prior to the event (a little more proactive then you first thought huh?). As for policing,the run is supervised by the local police force as well as a couple civilian volunteers along the entirety of the course.

An accident waiting to happen…I personally witnessed this a few years back and it’s fun to watching, however I see nothing has changed. No policing or organization. I guess there is no such thing as law suits in Bermuda in the event something does happen. It’s a great event; just very risky; lucky and fortunate for the riders in displaying their craft. Just try being more Pro-Active rather than Re-Active. It’s all just fun and games right?
