I just knew one fool would make that comment! OH lighten up, will you?! Geesh! I’m not sitting here obsessing over this or analysing this to death…it was a light-hearted comment! I meant I wish they were in abundance and available like cats or dogs are as it would make a nice choice of pet. Chimps can be dangerous but so can dogs…are you saying nobody should own a dog? Anyone who takes on a chimp vs. say a cat as a pet takes that risk that it will attack just like the guy who gets a Rottweiler vs. a Chihuahua…I personally wouldn’t have a Rottweiler as a pet for that reason but some people choose to.

What are the odds that someone will actually own a pet chimp or that it will rip its owner’s friend’s face off? Do you live your life imagining all the possible scenarios that can go wrong regarding the most absurd things? Good grief, I’d hate to be you.

Stop being so type-A, anal or whatever. I think tree roos are cute but know I’ll never own one and again, it was WISTFUL THINKING…don’t be such a loser all your life!

That was just… silly.

Being domesticated won’t necessarily means they’re 100% safe, you know.

Take for instance; chimps. Many have attacked their owners. Most notably; the Charla Nash incident. She was brutally mauled by her friend’s chimpanzee.

So be careful what you wish for…

There was one there, so unless that one died or was sent to another zoo overseas there would now be two. Considering there was only one all this time, maybe they’re solitary animals? I don’t know…not all animals want company-I know I sure feel that way a lot of the time. The one that was already there alone always looked pretty happy to me…she ( I think it’s a she) looked like she was literally smiling-especially when she was eating!

Karau is SO cute and cuddly looking! I wish all animals were domesticated. I’d love to have a pet like this instead of a cat who clearly doesn’t like me and looks at me with disdain 99% of the time (with the 1% he’s not being when I feed him, of course)…

What is this.. Noahs ark? This zoo and aquarium is just driving the captive animal slave trade industry.. Why bring more when there is no where near enough room for the animals that are there!
