I think you’ve all got it all wrong. I could be mistaken but it is not $400 for a pedicure and hotel guests do not pay extra for the use of its pool. The $400 is for a day pass type of thing which entitles you and 5 of your friends to use of the pool cabanas & pool for the day. The cost is in line with similar private facilities I have used in the Cote d’Azur, Palm Beach and California. If you are 6 people it works out to about $60 per day. You can have a good time, order from the restaurant, shower change and go home feeling all relaxed without sand, salt and lugging a cooler around. You also don’t have the expense of belonging to a club year round or building and maintaing your own pool! For a family outing during these super hot months it’s not bad value. IMO.

I was recently off island and experienced the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had — total almost 90 minutes. When she was finished and I asked how much I owed her, she seemed rather hesitant and replied “$30??” And this was at a spa! $400 is TOTALLY insane and I’m sure it’s on top of the nightly hotel rate. The hotels on this island give you NOTHING for free. They should be embarrassed to publicize this.
