I met Chris whilst in Bermuda preparing Offficer Cadets for Sandhurst. What a delightful and helpful fellow. The Regiment has lost a really decent chap. My condolences to the Wheddons.

Chris,you truly will be missed. You were without a doubt one of the kindest and genuine people that I ever had the pleaseure of meeting.

my deepest condolences to the Wheddon family, Major Wheddon was my company commander when i was in A company, a soldier’s soldier who always helped us the soldiers under his command not just from the army point but also by helping to find jobs for those that needed help, he loved the regiment and also loved our island…rest well Sir you’ll be able to see your beloved Man Utd play from heaven.
