There are groups of guys that hit various spots along the South Shore all year long and get some amazing surf.

I watched them and took a few pictures (not so great on my iPhone compared to these)this year when I saw them off Kent Avenue, behingd Peace Lutherine Church and just behind A1 in Smiths (the Pampas I think it is called).

There were about 20 or so surfers out there more than once. I don’t think we see them on the beaches more often (unless they are closed down) because they cold hurt someone while surfing during the busy beach season.

Best surf I’ve ever seen in Bermuda. Not often that shoal off the Reefs breaks. If those pics get out Bermuda could be a surprising new surf spot for those with the money to travel the world. A great article subject for Surfer Magazine.
