I can see exactly where keepin it real is coming from and if its this escalating gang problem you want stopped, it starts in town, from the national stadium to spanish point boat club. All my life I have known about MOB, ESC, 42nd, frontline, and all the rest, now with the rise of parkside, do you hear about frontline? No its all parkside now and like I’ve said before they’re ruthless. I’m from town and I have no problems going east or west but these days I won’t even drive 30secs over the hill to happy valley belvins, I’ll drive into the city first, trust me the valley aint so happy anymore. You want a group dispursed? Try removing the unbagged trash that sits around drinking and demanding money outside of a struggling BLACK owned business! Happy valley belvins! If I won’t go there anymore because of that how many others feel the same? I’ve heard other people in the store talking about the parkside bies outside, so if they know then the police should f@ckin know. Who’s the first to bring out an automatic machine gun? Who’s responsible for most of the armed home invasions, armed robberies, murders and extortion? Do you want someone coming to your house telling you that you owe parkside a certain amount a month or something bad will happen? No? Then the police need to sort out their f@ckin priorities. Do you not find it ironic that one of the biggaz on the police gun squad lives right above a parkside bigga? There’s a little more to that story but I like my life and don’t trust the anonymity of these comments especially seeing how well connected these guys are. This is where the public should demand the police concentrate, dispursing white hill will only cause more deaths on their front. Looks to me like the police want to take out the MOB spotters. Also in no way do I support MOB or any other gang, but they are the least of our worries, they don’t carry on like parkside darkside…sounds like a bunch of super villains from a really gay cartoon.

This is just another way to waste tax payers money,,ok you may move them from the area but they will just end up somewhere else,most drug dealers these days operate by prepaid phones so it does not solve the drug dealing problem,i remember clean sweep in the 90s and all it did was shift people from one area to the next and thats why it aint happened again ever since and the sentences were way to harsh i remember one guy got 3 years for a 20dollar crack rock,240grand to lock sumone up for a 20 dollar rock is over the top..Most think that its the right thing to do but its not and until drugs are treated as a social problem and not criminal the gangs will stay,the police and government make more money while the taxpayers contribution to the war on drugs continues to rise without any results,,while creating contriversy we create curiosity and if these drugs were regulated and controled then the world would be a safer place,while they are ileagal kids and minors can get it no problem but put it behind the counter for over 21 or 18 less curiosity less contriversy..think about it

Am I suppose to clap my hands and thank the police? Because they made such a big deal about stopping the guys from hanging around Gun Alley when really all the boys did was just relocate themselves to Navy Field by the gate closest to Somerset Primary. So clearly the police FAILED!

The boys who hang in White Hill Area live in the White Hill area. So I don’t see why it is a problem for them to hang in the area. That is their neighborhood, GET OVER IT. However, if they are being a nuisance call the police! But I do not see why the police can just go around arresting boys for hanging a few meters from their own home.

CCTV covers all the areas you discuss. All are known. It’s recorded whether you believe it or not.
Stuff is happening up west. Good on the police for taking steps.
Response time in the city is usually minutes and at times it is too late; no fault of poor policing.

Yes, Bermuda is a place where you should be able to walk and sit wherever you like, and with whomever, however, there may be more to the reason as to why this action is being taken. I do not believe this is the only area that will be targeted. Why the police decided to make an annoucement is beyond comprehension.
