This is great, but I heard last night their partner will be BELCO in this estimated $56 – 100millon fibre project, isnt it a little strange that BELCO’s parent company is buying up companies and forming partnerships all over the place but claims not to have enough money to re invest in their own plant and needs you and I to pay one of the highest power costs on the planet which is riddled with fake surcharges, maybe if they spent less on their shopping spree and more on their core business Bermudains could see a reduction in costs.

I'm not surprised, old money raping the company for years whilst stifling competition. Its about time some fresh minds have introduced new technology to the market. I may not like Digicel tactics, but they are driving the price down to a reasonable level. TBI done likewise back in 1996 and Link may (fingers crossed) have a similar impact on fixed line services. I only wish that government would keep up with the innovators

During peak times like after 5pm when everyone has come home from work. They trim the band width down on people who are not streaming video etc, because they (IP) cannot handle the volume of data. That's a fact.

Key Tech got their backing and Link Bermuda got theirs. All I can say is that this is so long overdue it really is NOT funny. We have milked the current infrastructure beyond the limit. NO MORE incremental updates. i.e from 512kb to 2mb then to the current 4mb. It is vexing to say the least, not to mention when I pay for 4mb and would be getting less than 2mb. Throttling up and throttling down like a slow 50c.c going over Mcgalls Hill on reserves. Da Fugg. Bring IT!
