Any update on this poor man?? I arrived seconds after this accident happened and he looked in a pretty bad way – I do hope there is some news of improvement??

You cannot really determine who was at fault just from the picture/news report. Unless you were a witness please stop making assumptions and judgement calls. Too many times ppl make comments when they do not have a clue as to what really took place. Prayers to the gentleman and to his family for a speedy recovery.

If we are looking at the same picture, to me it looks as if the person who struck him or he struck did not “give way”. Barkers Hill seems to be one of those roads that some people forget is there until traffic comes from it. I have seen many a person not look towards there coming up North Shore or coming down Palmetto Rd. So unless the bike flipped in the air and spun around twice, would a bike fall toward a vehical that struck it or away from? If the answer is away from, then the person who struck him did not “give way” not him.

Looking at the picture on the TV news. It looks like the motorcycle rider failed to give way. Many people come flying off of Barkers Hill not slowing down to give way. I’m surprised there aren’t many more to come at that spot.
