There have been multi-brand boutiques in the USA selling Luisa Spagnoli over its long history. However, the Toronto store is the first mono-brand (Luisa Spagnoli) boutique in North America.

Thus, this article is incorrect in labelling the Toronto store the ‘first’ in North America. It is however, the only current store in North America, for the stores in business in the USA in the 80s have since closed their doors.
