Personally, if I was being threatened by a couple of bullies, I wouldn’t want to have to wait a half an hour or so while police negotiate that narrow, winding road to get to my aid. The bullies could do a lot of damage in that space of time.

St. Georgians protested when the station was closed and have begged to have it reopened ever since. Who feels it,knows it.

Crime was soaring when the current BPS management took over, and it only has continued to soar since then.

Who armed the police was the premier and commissioner in office before the current commissioner took office.

Successful Evidence and forensic training would be evident by the number of solved crimes increasing.

Implying Bermudian officers can’t do their job is not why x-pat cops are here.

And as for me putting on a Poice uniform, I couldn’t afford that much of a pay cut.

Mr Kenneth Bascome has fought tiredly and hard more then any other Bermudian both publicly and privately,for the return of the St.George’s police station to be re-opened full time.so to make a comment like you did was inappropriate,get your facts right first.

Then to say step aside and let real men do the job,I take a great offence to that and hope you can clear this up.the way I see it we can take that comment two ways,you are saying Mr Bascome is not a real man,then the answer to that is,your to dumb of an a$$ to know what a real man is.

The second way to look at your comment that Mr Bascome should step aside and let real men do the job,is that because you have white man standing there taking all the glory for the hard work that Mr Bascome has already put forth in his constituency,well my answer to that is,all the man in that picture are hard working Bermudians that for the most part put Bermuda first.

Can’t even get the police to investigate bike thefts in broad daylight with cameras in Hamailton CCTV what a joke. If you are part of the Road Traffic Department why can’t people get you to review the tapes in Hamilton when you were given the #s of the cameras that might have viewed a crime durring the day half your work is done right there………………….

A Minister makes $150,000 that’s a nice cookie. Even with no GP he could still take his car up to the Bus Garage and fill his tank with the free gas. They should have given him Minister of Community & Cultural Development. The man work his a$$ to win St. Geo Community.

We saw the same comissioner meet with the PLP with virtually the same discussion and with no results, why should we expect better this time? There needs to be a change in the manaagement of the BPS and appointing someone to lead who has some balls and is not afraid to tackle the growing problems, we have one of the best equiped but least effective police forces on the planet! Mr Governor surely in your experience you have seen this type of mismanagement in ther UK, are those people still doing that job?..we think not.

in time i can see bermuda back on track and a world class destination for both residents and visitors!
