i was for swansea because the ribbing i took from certain people who did not understand the game, especially premier league, was becoming annoying. If wells continues his progress and continues his growth , the potential is there for him to reach the highest heights and i wish nothing but the best for him but urge everyone to allow him to stay grounded.

As a welsh taffy and strong love for Bermuda, I was so happy to see Swansea win….they have been the underdogs for a decade. That being said, I am so proud of Nahki Wells s he is one of a few who will ever experience that magical moment of walking onto the pitch at Wembley and actually playing in a cup final. He should be applauded for the positive influence this brings to our discouraged youth….you have to work hard for your success…it does not get handed to you on a plate..way to go Nahki, you are a real star today….pay no mind to these dopey haters…they all couch potatoes and envious!!

Why not gather for him, he is giving hope to a lot of young Bermudian men who may be leading a less than desirable lifestyle. Even if Nahki’s success has reached at least one of our young men, then in my eyes, that is one less loss we are facing. Rather than be negative, look at Nahki’s road to Wembley and regardless if it was a loss to Swansea, it was a winner for this man’s goals, hopes and dreams.

Cable Vision carried an ad in Saturday’s RG (page 13) saying it would be on 101 and 416.

Can’t they get anything right?

As for channel 7, that’s an insult. Mr. Perry should be ashamed to put out a product of such appaling “quality”. He should be shut down for failing to meet a minimum level of performance. Typical local ethos – set a low standard which you consistently fail to attain.

Thank goodness for ESPN and channel 450.
