Ref to Cocoa’ comments…excellent….now that Gordon Ward is no longer considered a “normal hospital” ward – recently renamed “ALTERNATE LEVEL OF CARE” unit….they must be vigilant for the new super bug CRE….no antibiotics work…

Been patient on Gordon Ward for several weeks…previously on Cooper and Perry…If I could have a choice of wards..would prefer Gordon…Ward quiet at nights, room neat and tidy, call bell answered in seconds.Nurses exceptionally attentive..night male attendant obviously loves his work..very very caring…tea in morning and more…rather not comment on Cooper and Perry

Excellent job containing the spread of this highly contagious bug. Better than most hospitals could have done. Even the one the person above will go too? Are you aware that the majority of MRSA and other such bugs come via patients transfered back here from abroad? Give the place a break…they save lives daily.
Oh and did you notice that this was contained quickly by restricting visitors??
