As a Government Minister giving an update on behalf of the Government, their should be caution used when mentioning events being put on by groups affiliated with the OBA Party. The Government has the responsibility of leading the education and public discussion on this issue, not the party. The mention of the actions of the Future Bermuda Alliance has no place in a Ministerial update. By the Minister encouraging people to attend a meeting lead and sponsored by an affiliate of the OBA Party he is effectively asking the public to support a party event.
