Her legacy will last through out history,I use to love listening to her and especially watching her in Tyler Perry’s movie.

only chance I ever got to see her up close and personal was at the home going service of the late Mrs Corretta Scott-King, wife of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, and she sweeten the audience as she took to the podium and put all former President’s and political leaders in their place, with a poem that was fit for the occasion, and at the end we all stood with a standing ovation to the point most forgot it was a funeral.

May her legacy live on for her poetry but may her real story always be at the forefront of the struggles she fought hard for and helped to bring black women to the fore front.
