I know of officers that get women’s phone numbers for a legitimate purpose, then start calling them up on a personal nature. That happened to me twice with police officers.
Another time (years ago), my daughter’s father was incacerated. A prison officer somehow got my number, and started calling me. I guess he figured I was lonely, but I wasn’t even with my daughter’s father anymore. In fact, I was remarried so it made no difference to me if he was locked up or not.

I hope that “suspension” is WITHOUT pay!!!! If by some chance he/she is exonerated of the charges – They can always re-coup the lost back-pay!!!

Whilst that may be true (ticket should have been paid) the alleged LACK of professionalism displayed by the Police Officers that night speaks volumes….I have friends that are cops….some are cool and genuine and a couple of them are as wicked as the night is long….no need for anyone to hit “dislike” for the comments against the police or those downing the officer in question for his alleged offence because there are SNAKES in EVERY profession…IF he is found guilty than yes he should be named and shamed…..

That pretty much sums up police departments around the world. What’s worse is judges and many of the general public take their word as the truth just because they are police officers. Thankfully we are in a social media world and with technology growing so rapidly we can now record and expose these crooked power hungry cops who abuse their authority.

Tylar, the difference between stereotypes cast on Police Officers and Black People is that Police Officers are not a historically oppressed racial group. Police Officers (or their historical equivalents) are largely the group that were physically doing the oppressing.

Because you asked. Also stereotypes about Police Officers are much truer.

Oh? Let me tell you a story …

One night in 2011, shortly after I got back to Bermuda from college, I was arrested and held overnight for a 4-year old unpaid speeding ticket. There was a drug addict in the cell next door, loudly going through withdrawal. To my disgust the Police employees took to taunting him in his misery – “Oh you want some crack! Huh? Want some crack!?” Their conduct throughout my arrest and incarceration was obscene. The guy who fingerprinted me jocularly questioned the accuracy of the gender listed on my driver’s license. It was more like a frat house than a police station.

With that kind of company culture I’m not surprised about this news. Abuse, sexism, inequality, and other crimes of all other kinds propagate wherever power is allowed to be exercised liberally by individuals with little to no oversight.

And there’s the moral.

It MAY have been a Police Officer, not the Police. The same way you dont want the Police to paint everyone with the same brush don’t do the same to the Police. Until proven otherwise they are innocent.

do you think police are robots. they are human.

i was convicted of road offences i did not do. I had my case all lined up for how i was going to prove my self inocent however the policy officer when up and strait lied to the judge. i was lime OMG i was stun because he had just did the otha. if it was death sentice i would be dead right now.

I want to report it to the media however i dont have much time beause of work.

Most cops are good but there are some that are wicked. This doesn’t surprise me.I have heard of some who allegedly use their offices sfter hours for purposes other than “working Late”.Not always the males.
