The Sharks most likey to atttack a Human swimming are – [1] Bull Shark [ likes shallow water too [2] Great White [3] Tiger Shark [4] Mako [5] Blue Shark – only if there in a pack, [6] Hammer Head — glad to say that non of these are not common inside of thee Reef are.— Tiger Sharks I have seen inside the reef several times.- over the years’.

Depends on whether this is a Galapagos or Dusky….your link is about the Galapagos and not the Dusky. Although the article mentions that they will approach divers, it also mentions that there are only two reported attacks as of 2008…I’d say we are more of a threat to them than the other way around.

Well if it is Galapagos they people should just keep a look out. Dusky and Nurse sharks are no uncommon here and aren’t threatening. When I was younger we would fish off of Elbow and Warwick Long Bay beaches for sharks around each full moon. Lots of shark hash and oil!

Is there anyone who still believes in and spreads the myth that the reefs stop the sharks from getting in ?

They’ve got those things called ‘fins’ and they can swim wherever they want !
