Berry & Brunton Win Labour Day 5 Mile Race
Ashley Berry and Cory Brunton are the 2014 Bermuda Labour Day 5 Mile Race female and male champions following racing on Sunday morning [Sept 1].
Berry clocked a time of 32:05, with Brunton finishing second at 32:51. Jahmai Lottimore was the third finisher and second male with a time of 33:16, Deon Breary was the fourth finisher and second female with a time of 33:45, while Trevor Lindsay rounded out the top five finishers by clocking 33:56.
Jayden Ming and Jade Johnston are the male and female Junior Labour Day champions. Ming crossed the line in a time of 7:05, with Akeem Johnston finishing second at 7:41. Iziah Tucker finished third, clocking a time of 7:54, while Robert Thomas finished fourth with a time of 8:47. Jade Johnston crossed the line fifth overall with a time of 8:51.
