This is what we call a fume event and it is most likely due to an engine oil seal failure in the compressor stage of the engine. The high temperature air vaporizes the oil which enters the cabin in the cabin pressure air. Unfortunately, turbine engine oil is highly toxic and causes neurological damage.

In aviation persons on a flight are counted as souls on board. This is inclusive of passengers and crew.

All we can do now is pray everyone pulls through. It’s been far too often lately that we’ve been experiencing these “mishaps” aboard various flights, either en-route to the island or elsewhere. Can some of these “mishaps” be due to negligence?
Many times we witness planes turn around and take off after only been given a quick look-over:-(
