If you want to succeed in life, you need to work hard, plain and simple. By giving away free school supplies, the mothers, and by extension their children, are being taught they don’t need to work for it because someone will give them what they need. There is no responsibility, there is no hard work, yet everyone wants to get something for nothing. And that is the root of quite a lot of the problems we face in our community.

Just like a few comments said above, i no doubt believe that mothers take their kids all around these events just to see how much they can get!

One person lived in Somerset and dragged her 4 children to every event/giveaway that was going on for free supplies etc. for her children. I think the PLP members should inquire from the parents if they are in their areas.
