You wouldn’t have to chase them much. Just start pulling them over. I am unclear why there is seldom a police presence on this straight stretch. Especially during the evening commute.

1. Fine the hole off them and confiscate the vehicle.

2. Give them minimum of 6 months community service.

3. Upon satisfactory completion of CS ban them from ALL motorised vehicles for 24 months.

…finally

4. Summons them to the Police compound to witness and/or participate in the destruction of their vehicle – make sure plenty of pictures are taken of both the vehicle and the offender. Post these pictures across the island as fair warning for anyone else contemplating similar behavoir.

All high speed Chases present a present and clear danger if not an out right theat to both Vehical users and Pedestrians alike.- due to the the roads as we know it in Bermuda.
This is a case were the some legal or inside hanky panky was involved or the Judicial system is just outright unstable.- go figure!
Should have been a $1000 fine and 6 Mounths all vehicals suspended.

Incentive is to pay before you lose your bike. Also loss of bike is an incentive to pay NOW.
