Never ride directly behind a vehicle, choose either side, near or off, preferable the near or left side.

Always look for “means of escape”. Be acutely aware of your surroundings.

The law can be interpreted in many ways, so much so, there are thousands of lawyers forming interpretations.

The object, is, that we are faced with determining the “intent of the law”, where the is an element of doubt.

I guess that you have never been rear ended ?
Well sir ! I have…… I was thrown from my bike at leased I did not get mangled, however my bike was totaled.

For those who have a clutch keep bike in low gear, drop the clutch when you hear the screech.

jus simply observe law…that is all…because if you don’t law will be disrespected from onset…if law does not pertain to all …then it does not exist al all!

i do hope police check all cell phone records of phones in vehicles of accidents correlating time of accident with text or call time….i hope they just do that…it might be the thing to do…

No one forces you to third lane..that is clearly a choice! That can also be considered road rage because you yourselves are being impatient when you could just ride being the car. Just saying.

I like thousands of others ride a scooter which uses less fuel with a smaller foot print.

We occupy much less parking space.

We get wet from cars spraying us.

We get cold in winter.

Our heads roast in the summer encased in a helmet.

We are vulnerable to oncoming over sized trucks; buses and Tractor Trailers.

We over take to avoid “rear end ramming” from oncoming vehicles.

We all know the car ” Sandwich trick” that forces us to the Third Lane.

We have to contend with impatient Road users some afflicted with “Road Rage” and those drivers who constantly run with high beams at night.

My greatest fear is the ” Drunk Driver”.

My advice to all bike riders, RIDE DEFENSIVELY , you can not win, you can be maimed or loose your life.
