Here in Western Australia the Govt. has raised the penalties for using their phone to $500.00 and 3 demerit points. Wonder if that will work

They ran to stop the driver when he tried to drive away from the scene. One soldier took the keys from his car so he couldn’t flee. The major had to be held back, rightly so.

Yes, there are inconsiderate drivers in Bermuda. Many. Having lived in many states and traveled extensively I would say this is common in many jurisdictions.

who says the person was racing? most of the time plain old STUPIDITY is the cause of most accidents and bad driving. More people going slow have caused me accidents and near accidents than speeders, of which none have caused me an accident.

i saw these teen boys on their weak bikes trying to show off in a pack of like 6 and one boy swerved right into the other lane into oncoming traffic, as if to pull into the bus bay on the other side of the road, but he did it right in the way of a man on his bike and they almost collided. then the boy changed his mind and just whipped back around into his lane again…derp de derp! then another boy -0 i hope – tried to overtake on a blind corner but his bike was so patheticaly weak it was straining to exceed 35mph to overtake the car and hence an on coming car blared its horn as it almost collided, and the boy couldnt even overtake and just slid back to the pack again in defeat.

Some people are just so impatient, or they are on their phones! I have been one of the crews working on the road trying to get everything clear right after the storm, and people just don’t want to wait. We are stopping traffic because trees are being cut down, but these bikes still want to zip on past us!
