And both men have immediately appealed the verdicts which seems to be the standard thing to do these days. Criminal behaviour already costs the law abiding taxpayers too much money that we do not have. I don’t think appeals should be free. By all means appeal your verdict or sentence if you feel justified in doing so, but if your appeal fails I believe your sentence should start over from the day your appeal is rejected.

In Supreme Court yesterday [Nov 5], Jahkeo LeShore and Darrion Simons both received a sentence of life in prison with each being required to serve a minimum of 25 years before being considered as eligible for any parole.
At the end of the 25 years when these two individual go up to face the parole board the family members of the deceased need to be in that room also, so as they can express their feeling towards these two individual and what it is these two individuals have denied others of. Both of them are young and will still be relatively young when going up for parole yet the deceases children will still be without their father
I guess what I’m saying is, premeditated murderers when sentenced to life should not be granted parole at anytime and life should be life!
