OBA are Pro-Bermudian. They are Bermudian.

PLP sold Bermuda and pulled the wool over our eyes.

It’s a hell of a trick they pulled off, spend all our money and borrow more in our name that we have to pay interest on and eventually repay. Whilst doing so, they ranted race, plantation so folks wouldn’t realise what they were getting away with.

Anbu is correct, in fact I cannot think of a better example of PLP ever voting for a more inappropriately wrong candidate. A cardboard box would have been more effective, would have worked harder, and be more reliable and trustworthy.

#33 voters did it to themselves and I for one am going to enjoy watching them as they regret this idiotic move to place this flip flop into the house.

Terry Lister was correct in his comment that voters should “vote for the party for all Bermudians”. It was ignored though. From the photos and the people in them it is clear which party is for all Bermudians. # 33 is staunch PLP and as a bye-election the result should have been a landslide for the PLP, but it wasn’t. Clearly many voters stayed home to show their feelings at both the candidate and the Party, yet the PLP have spun the result as a victory. That’s politics.

Do the political supporters of the herd mentality OBA government really think that the people of Bermuda were not ready to make a judgement on the almost two years of this government and it’s anti-Bermudian sentiment? It certainly seems to be the case. It’s candidate could not even run on her government’s record as she made every effort to distant herself from the political party in whose name she stood for. Of course that was probably the political advise of it’s foreign consultants. Now all of a sudden it Senate leader is at great pains to declare that his OBA government is dong everything to help Bermudians? At the same time it’s leader is desperately attempting to claim that the result of the bye-election is not a judgement on his government policies which many Bermudians see as going against their interests. Look for more photo-opts; and little give away’s on the part of this government in an effort to convince Bermudians that they have their best interests at heart? But the cat is out of the bag and has long disappear down the road; something that Bermudians have been made to painfully become aware having to have to live through almost two years under this anti-Bermudian government.

I said it would be close.

PLP stronghold and 533 failed to show up and vote.

Imagine if they did. I am sure they were not all off island.

136 votes is not a major loss considering the above.

But can’t change the outcome but would have been an OBA win if people did not take things for granted as a sure PLP win.
