I bet things would be a lot different around the house if every month they received a bill from the goverment to house the same young men they spoiled rotten.

If the person the police are looking for “leads a productive life” and had nothing to hide, the police would simply go to their home, family members home, place of employment or call them and ask them to come in. When you hide, chances are you have something to hide.

@Not Emery, based on your “RIP Jason” comment, it looks like you have lost a friend or family member and I am sorry to see that. However, chances are that you know something or have heard something because people talk. If you want this killing to continue and perhaps lose someone else close to you, do nothing. However, if you want this to end sooner, encourage everyone you know to call the police (even if it is through Crime Stoppers) so that this can end.

Trust me, it will end one way or another. History will show that every gang, cartel, mafia, or whatever you want to call it, eventually collapses and implodes from within if the police or community don’t take them down first! Many will die, many innocent people get hurt (physically and otherwise) and eventually the few that are left grow up, flee, are left physically and / or mentally disabled, are drawn to religion, or change their lives. But one thing is certain, the gang members as you know them today will not be alive or in power in 3 – 5 years. Save a friend or family member – talk! Or, prepare to attend another funeral in the near future!

Sorry, but are we missing the point here? Stop asking for solutions overseas, isn’t the issue that the communities of East and West sort their act out?

Why is Bermuda paying for thug life and bad parenting?

I’m surprise that some countries haven’t signed up to recieve prisoners to help pay for their prison facilities.

Turkey may be up for it.

Costs per prisoner per year are much cheaper elsewhere. If some 3rd world country where prisoner costs per year are only say $10,000 & they charged us $20,000 per year it is a win win for both sides.

Sure conditions in such a prison overseas are going to be pretty harsh but who cares? These thugs want to run around doing what they do then they need to see what real hard time is all about.

Bet that once the word gets out how miserable life is in one of those prisons there will be a drastic reduction in crime.

We need to clean and tidy our own mess AKA…..raise our OWN children properly raise boys to be men not men set in their ways.

They are cracking down because these fools are becoming more blatant.What difference does it make they are catching them.Next thing you will get upset they are catching them on a Friday and not Wednesday.

You can not see the forest for the trees …….think about it.

Depending on demand, charter Con Air to transport a group to & a group returning once or twice a year. There must be a nice toasty desert with a prison in the middle of it somewhere that can house these guys.

The down side to that is these fools DON’T ask questions they just shoot.

Also. It is THE DUMBEST idea to suggest that the police reveal the name of the person they are looking for. Other than the personal safety of the suspect, the suspect could simply flee the island, the airport isn’t the only way to leave this island either.

Also smart Walt, how do you know if the person they are looking for doesn’t lead a productive life. They could simply be looking for someone who was identified by bystanders as having a complete view of the incident and can help identify the actual killers.
