Child labor doesn’t exist in Bermuda. That is primarily in Africa and Asia along with the practice of modern day slavery. Maybe you should turn your outage towards them about the subject. Bet you won’t though.

But they will be paying wages to Bermudians that wouldn’t otherwise that would be working as the project would have never occurred without the event. That is the whole part of concessions. If you did not give them incentives they would choose to do business elsewhere Also, payroll tax will have to be paid as well as pension payments, social insurance etc.

They are getting tax breaks on materials and their boats they are bringing into Bermuda.

No more onions and Easter Lilies to export, we cannot depend on International Business as they are all merging and people are losing jobs (no furlough here, just gone!). So I love the idea of building Bermuda and looking at other ways to make money for the Island. Misery loves Company and for too long Bermuda has been stuck in this angry miserable state. Time for change and change scares a lot of people hehehe

They aren’t paying any taxes either!!!

The America’s Cup still owe tax money to the City of San Fran, and the Port of San Fran. Over 11 million.

The also projected that 8,840 jobs would be created.

Bay Area Council Economic Institute showed numbers of 2,863.

I just want people to understand the AC will say one thing, but the follow through might not be what they believe or project!!!

Question, where will the bulk cement ships discharge given the proposal is along the Commercial dock where they pump the cement needed for construction into the two silos? Or the tankers for that matter?

Will each of the six teams have to build a structure like this?

And the daycare center for 50 children (also on the application) will that be used only for the Oracle team’s children?

Hope they have their own transport, garbage collectors and that they will use FedEx or DHL and not the Post Office!
