Makes no difference. For those of us fortunate to own our own homes, or at least share ownership with the banks, & have stuff like painting, yard work & other outdoor work to do, the extra daylight after the normal working day is nice to have to get the chores done, so that perhaps weekends can be enjoyed doing leasure stuff.

It’s just a time shift.

Oh, and the US doesn’t really use oil for electricity generation. It’s coal, natural gas, nuclear, hydro and other.
