By the west end of Kindley Field Road they will be well spread out & running/walking with the flow of traffic. No problem to airport bound traffic at all.

What contingencies are there for emergency vehicles travelling between the KEMH and the East End during this period?

If the race is going to be disruptive to main roads and the airport why not simply leave the routefrom the West End via Harbour Road into Hamilton? In that way there is minimal disruption to traffic or emergency vehicles – IMO
