“The students engaged in research projects central to Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR) effort in representing 21 Bermuda-based international insurers and reinsurers. ABIR member companies together employ about 1,500 people locally and the combined workforce is 65% Bermudian.
The internship is part of ABIR’s community outreach initiative to demonstrate the benefits to Bermuda of international (re)insurance business and encourage the development of Bermudian talent for the Island’s (re)insurance centre.
Bermudians Arisha Butterfield and Seta Douglas successfully completed the program on June 5th. 2015
