The government needs to get serious about JOB creation, and stop playing politics and the Blame Game……really

I will not guess or debate over who created the post, as the individual will live with their own guilt., if they have a conscious. It is clear that it was distasteful and hurtful to many who suffer from Breast Cancer and the push by “Bras for Cause” to stop government from changing the law.

It is unfortunate that the Government decided to fall for such a silly post and Twitter it on their main account. This speaks to the fact that fault lies with the OBA government for poor judgment and poor PR officers role in this entire mess.

Why did the OBA Government do such a silly thing. Twitter reaches many, and what’s more sillier is their unwillingness to remove it. Premier Dunkley needs to step up to a higher ground on this matter, and down his Political Sword and Ego.

Many Campaigns in support of Breast Cancer often feature Men wearing Bras. It is common approach to promote awareness and support. OBA seem to be unaware that this form of support for Breast Cancer is often used by many all over the world. Thus, it goes with out saying, Bermuda would use a similar method of promotion.

It is painful that some folks and OBA supporters do not see beyond the real issue here. The total disrespect for young man who have suffered the pain of losing a love one to breast Cancer. The young man were encouraged to take a picture, in support of all persons who suffered from Brest Cancer.

We deserved so much more from out Government, we deserve a higher level of governance, and not a knee jerk reaction to everything. I call on the government stand up and forward an Apology, and get on with creation of JOB for all. Please…….

The fact that NEITHER PARTY haas yet to support SAME SEX MARRIAGE says they both have their heads in the sand.

That is the true mockery….that is denial of human rights.
So the gotcha politics of Dunkley and Baron walking on the grass over bras OR the OBA tweet ….. is all a side show and really quite pathetic.

DO THE RIGHT THING OBA/PLP and stop hiding on this most important issue. Have the guts to do the right thing…. No one is saying we want to force the “CHURCH” to perform SAME SEX MARRIAGE …IF indeed that is what you politicians are worried about….
We are saying make SAME SEX MARRIAGE legal in Bermuda via civil ceremony, beach weddings etc, and give same sex couples ALL the RIGHTS opposite sex couples have…..

This whole episode is just disgusting to anyone who’s not one of the usual diehard OBA or PLP superfans in this forum or in the FB pages.

I am no lawyer but if already in the public domain there are no damages and there is no such thing as the CPR in Bermuda.

All this outrage over this tweet, but the same people saw nothing wrong with the following:

- Jahmal Simmons’ highly disturbing tweets (who in turn was rewarded for his divineness with a PLP candidacy and is now an MP)

- Makai Dickerson’s blatantly sexist cartoons during the 2012 PLP election campaign

- Eron Hill’s KKK OBA social media post. I hope the OBA now sues him for such a disgusting correlation.

- Christopher Famous’ blatant half-truth articles against the OBA in which he feels free to omit pieces of information when making his lopsided arguments and as such completely misrepresenting the positions of other that he hates so much

Bermuda is another world. Don’t apologise OBA. Show the Party of ‘do what I say and not what I do’ that you can play their silly games as well.

On the other hand, he seems to have a knack of totally embarrassing himself, so he should go far in the PLP.
